Frequently Asked Questions:
How long does it last?
Up to 90 days. Also, by having your field painted with YardGreen, your grass will actaully be prepared to green up faster come spring. See the "Benefits of Painting" page for more.
Will it come off on uniforms?
The paint will not just rub off on you, but if you slide or dive on it, you may get a stain, just like regular grass stains. It washes off easier than most "real" grass stains.
How long before it dries and can be played on?
With good weather (no rain), your field will be ready in 24-48 hours.
Does the paint changes the feel of the grass?
No. The YardGreen paint we use will not change the texture or feel of the grass. Some paints used for logos do make grass "hard", but the YardGreen paint will not change the grass texture at all.
Is the Paint Safe?
Yes, the YardGreen paint is completely safe for the players and the field itself. It is non toxic and environmentally safe.
I have tried painting before, but the paint looked bad. Will yours?
That's why you'll hire us, the professionals, to give you the results you want.
Using the right paint and techniques is crucial. Some paints don't provide a true green color, and some turn blue after only a few weeks. YardGreen is among the strongest, longest lasting paint available and will give you a natural looking green color.
Using the right techinque and equipment is important. If you use a hand or backpack sprayer, you will not get a consistent spray. If you don't use the right pattern, you will have some areas darker than others. We have equipment designed just for grass painting that produces quality results.
I paint my field now, and I like the paint I'm using. Will you use other paints?
Yes. If you have a paint that you are comfortable with and you simply want us to apply it for you, we will be happy to. You can use your time toward other projects, save the wear on your equipment, and leave the work to us!
Do you do field lining or striping?
Yes. We can line your field. Give us a call for more specific information.
Do you paint logos or other designs on fields?
Yes. We can paint your logo or message on your field in your colors. Give us a call for more specific information.
